Actually, can you be an entrepreneur without passion?
Do you already have The "Must Have" Mindset of Entrepreneur? Example: you inspired by seniors who had already been successful in business, and just wanted to follow his tracks in achieving success without any of love in running your business. Even if you make a lot of money through your business, but if you do not like what you do - you will eventually feel saturated in carrying out your business and choose to leave.

What is your trigger to become entrepreneur?

Though there are plenty kinds of factors that could drive someone to be entrepreneur, these are the most common reasons.

Is it family? - The family has been involved in the entrepreneurial world from long ago, could be more than just decades. It become such kind of responsibilities for the descendants in the family to continue what the parents/grandparents had already started. Some of the descendants were pretty good in it, some others not. Some of them might have done it happily, some others not.

Is it the only plausible option? - Here is the situation. A graduated student with standard GPA, nothing special. Came from regular worker family, with regular level of income. With this condition, this student doesn’t have many options. To move forward, he/she might not be able to work in a high class company since they couldn’t meet the minimum GPA requirement that was stated by those companies. So, the only way that seems plausible is to work on themselves, being entrepreneur.

Is it PASSION? - This is someone, that because of any reasons, willing to do anything, through anything, and sacrifice lots of things to pursue their dream, becoming entrepreneur. This is the rarest factor.
Passion is needed by every entrepreneur. Do not just look at what the market that are in demand, and took the opportunity to make an impromptu business that just go with the flow to make money. Follow a venture because you’re passionate about it. Success and failure is part of the game, but your passion won’t waver based on the highs and lows. Rather, your passion will keep you looking forward to not only succeed, but to embrace and love every second of it.

Is passion a gift? Or it could be generated?

We skipped the further discussion about 'the family' factor and ‘the only plausible' factor. The most interesting is the “passion” factor. The question that we should all ask, including to ourselves is: Is “Passion” a gift? Which means, if it is, being entrepreneur is more like destiny. Or, on the other hand, is it possible for us to generate the “passion”? Which in this case, it means anyone could become an entrepreneur.

Start from something you love

Start with something that you love to do, something that you might not realize that it could be monetized. This might not directly lead you to the fortune, but at least, you wouldn’t be disappointed on doing it.

Do not copy others!

Be original! Never copy the work of others, it may infringe on copyright rules - if not, maybe you just became a follower of someone who has the original business idea. you will never be as stand out and successful as him/her.

Discussion with seniors

No need to read a business book that is so thick. Start following the seminar or discussion with seniors who had already been successful in starting a business. You can make 2-way communication with him, knowing the tips and tricks are applied in his business.

Screen Information

Many people tend to follow and copy the trend. This could be good, or on some cases, flop! If it was in the end of the trend, and the customers have started to search for new things. Therefore you need to search information on the current market conditions, can be done via the internet, social media, newspapers, etc.

Most importantly, passion is central to making decisions that are in the long-term interest of the customer and the company, which will help you establish sustainability and longevity for your brand.
